The overspeed operation of the fully automatic winding machine has another benefit, which is to increase the frequency of the power supply voltage of the tested winding machine, or to use an auxiliary winding machine to drag the tested winding machine and increase its speed. In addition, the power supply and voltage frequency methods for advanced fully automatic winding machines currently use thyristor variable frequency installation - variable frequency power supply. The way to increase the speed is very simple, which is to reduce the excitation current or increase the armature terminal voltage. But if the increase in terminal voltage is less than 130% of the rated voltage, reducing the excitation current will cause the speed to rise steadily.

If it can support 2 minutes at increased speed without deformation or other abnormal conditions, such a fully automatic winding machine is considered qualified. When purchasing a fully automatic winding machine, people usually consider the price and whether it is suitable for their needs, but they have little idea about how to inspect the equipment. It is not a problem to let the winding machine manufacturer conduct this experiment. When conducting overspeed experiments, it is recommended to use remote speedometers for measuring the rotational speed as much as possible.
